Hershey Kiss Cookies

Two days after Christmas, Amber, Brooke, and I went to Walmart and Super Target to get some candy on clearance. We went a little crazy with the Hershey Kisses :) Since we ended up with bunch of different flavors, we decided make Hershey Kiss Cookies! They were delicious!
Ingredients:
30 Kisses, unwrapped (about 1/2 bag)
3/4 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup applesauce
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
3 Tablespoons white sugar
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Mix together peanut butter, applesauce, and sugars. Add egg. Add milk and vanilla.
2. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
3. Roll into 1-inch balls. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.
4. While they're baking, remove the kisses from their foil. Open the oven after 8 minutes and press one kiss into each cookie. Bake for 1 more minute.
5. Let cool and set before serving.

Yields: 30 cookies
